It is been months since the last review of the Dell Vostro 5471. Recently we found out that the Vostro LCD is showing some issue with the LED back light. Below images may be slightly blurry due to captured with an iPhone with low light condition.
From the images we can easily see the issue is showing on the bottom of the screen.
This issue usually caused by sub par LCD panel used by manufacturer and/or due to bad design of the LCD bezels. For our case, we had contacted Dell to address the issue but even with several panel and a bezel change, the issue persists.
This issue only obvious when a black screen is displaying, it could be a bit distracting while watching a movie as usually there will be black space on the top and bottom of the display.
