From the name of this headphones it is very obvious that this particular headphones is designed for Studio or live concert use, but for me it still works very well for music enjoyment.
Okay let's go to something more interesting, the real review of this headphones. But before anything I had burned in this headphones for more than 700 hours and I will be using my macbook's stereo direct out as my source. Player of course - iTunes and all audio files used in this review are apple lossless. Everything from this review may and may not be exactly the same when you hear with it.
Comfort:
I'll rate it as 6 out of 10. The paddings of the headphones is well padded, there is a gap between your ears and the drivers so your ear won't touch it. headband is quite ok but it can be too clampy for certain head especially mine. After 2 hours of continuous usage of this headphones, I can feel the pressure coming from the side and the top, making me not so comfortable.
Built quality:
I'd say it's great, the headband is made up of solid metal alloy material which feels it is really solid to hold, the cup of each side for the driver is made of plastic, but not the cheap grade of plastic, it is really solid, and it surprisingly not really that heavy. It's a single entry cable headphones which is not really good for audiophile, I will talk about it later. The 3.5mm gold plated plug is well made by rubber-ish like plastic and the cable is quite flexible to bend around.

Michael Jackson - Beat It
Soundstage is not large, I will say it is around medium but it is wider side to side and narrow front and back, making a oval shape room. The guitar and vocals are not really impressive, but the bass drum is quite noticeable. The keyboard sounds is kinda laid back and hardly noticeable.
Adele - Rolling in the deep
The intro guitar shows a lot of details especially when the player starts to touch the strings, bass guitar is quite impressive and shows quite a lot amount of bass but it does not overlaps any details of the music. Female vocal is not rich but the instruments are quite impressive the drum cymbals does not sparkles much. Again the detail of this headphone is very impressive, the separation of different layer vocals is very noticeable.
Santanna ft. India Arrie & Yo-Yo Ma - While My Guitar Gently Weeps
The intro shows how detail of this headphone again, you can actually feel how much pressure the player had applied while tapping on the keys. As Yo-Yo Ma starts to play his cello you can listen every single detail of him pulling the bow. India Arrie voice on this headphone is kinda dry as well.
Overall this headphones is quite impressive, all it needs is a pairing amp to push its performance and cover its weakness. I tend to find this headphone to be a bit slow for metal music. I tried some my chemical romance musics and it didn't really catch up each beats quite well. And after owning it for so long, I also found that single entry cable headphone tends to sound unbalance due to one driver will has more length of cable compared to another. But other than that this headphone does gives you a lot of detail that you might need for studio editing and it is quite good for watching movies. This headphone is sold in Jaben Malaysia at retail price of RM950 and I think it is quite good for the value.
So far I found that Hippo Box+ Amplifier could improve its mids to bring it to another level.
