Got this baybeh last Tuesday, it's actually a replacement for my previous Shroom EB. Retail price of this baybeh is RM210. Okay here we go, the specifications: Single dynamic driver, 10mm Frequency range: 20Hz – 23KHz Impedance: 16Ohm Sensitivity:110dB/mW Build Quality and Design Build quality was great, it uses the connector just like what Westone earphone used. Cable are great as well, the cables are covered with a semi-transparent rubber, plastic kind of material. Making it dangle free. It comes with a clip as well. There is something that's irritate me abit, the design of the driver enclosure, it is somewhat a combination of IEM and the usual out ear earbuds. Somehow, this kind of design giving me abit of discomfort at first, but after awhile, I managed to find a suitable position to place it in my ears. The enclosure is made up of metal and plastic. Just got this earphone last Tuesday, never thought I will get this so early, but since I got a great deal because I bundled with my friend's Audio Technica AD-900, in the end I got it. The retail price for this IEM is RM190. Shroom EB is a bassier version of the original Shroom. The packaging was not that bad for a  RM190. It comes with 6 set of tips, the build of this IEM is kind of special, the driver is nearer to your eardrum, which could deliver better sound but it could easily catch earwax and dust.  Build quality are similar to Crossroads MylarOne's but for the cable, I personally prefer Creative EP630's, for this Shroom EB, it will be better if you could get a cable clip to clip on your shirt, as when you are walking the cable will swing around and knock on your shirt which will produce some irritating sound when you are listening to this earphones. As you guys knew if you read my previous post, my Creative EP-630 died, and I'm not really sure about the reason. So my friend and I had this idea, to revive it. Basically, the problem is on the wire, I'm quite sure that somewhere in the wire had snapped, causing the earphone to malfunction at one side. Day 1 night, I prepared a CAT5 cable, which is the LAN cable. We stripped it down and picked 4 wire for recabling. Day2: Opening up the driver Soldering process Soldering done Finalized product So far, I had not really tested how was the sound like. But the first impression is it is very airy, bass is not that heavy compared to the original cable. But it was a nice experience. p.s. I stabbed my thumb with a screwdriver while I am trying to open the driver :s My friend, SantikSengthong gets some credits as he helped me to solder the whole thing
